Duravit brings color to your life – especially with a palette of six different colors that will let you design your bathroom with a unique look. This includes bathroom furniture and sinks from the Vitrium bathroom series by designer Christian Werner, as well as matching toilets and bathtubs from other series that you can combine. The color concept makes it possible to design your entire bathroom in uniform colors. You can also use individual accents to break up an otherwise uniform bathroom design.

Color concepts
The color palette was curated by product designer Christian Werner and includes a total of six different tones that go together perfectly. These can be divided into three neutral tones: matte light gray, matte dark gray, and matte white; and three rich nuances: matte green-blue, matte salon blue, and matte cinnamon. The wide selection will allow you to find just the right color for every bathroom, from a minimalist designer bathroom to a rustic country house style.
“Color also determines how we perceive a product. It’s an emotion, because everyone responds to it differently. Multiple colors create a kind of color resonance, something that ideally creates a harmony. And colors for an interior should never be considered in isolation, but rather in the context of the space as a whole.”
Christian Werner
The matte surfaces have an elegant appearance and can easily set accents in the bathroom without ever dominating the space. The reason for this is that the warm tones respond calmly to other finishes like wood, stone, concrete, or matching tiles. The idea of harmony played a special role in the design of the color concept, ensuring that the nuances always work well – whether used individually or in combination. The result is that they are equally suitable for visually breaking up the design or as an overall theme for the entire interior.
Vitrium Furniture and Sinks: Tone-In-Tone
We rely on our outstanding technical expertise to ensure that Vitrium bathroom furniture and sinks have the exact same colors as the various other bathroom components you choose. The lacquered wood finishes of the vanities and the matching semi-tall cabinets, combined with the mineral composite sinks made of DuroCast UltraResist, match each other perfectly and look like they were poured from the same mold. The sinks, which are optionally available as a round countertop sink or a rectangular sink, have a non-porous finish with a particularly velvety feel thanks to the additional coat of lacquer that is applied. This also makes cleaning easier and makes the finishes more resistant to scratches and dirt.
Bathtubs from the DuraSquare series make a perfect complement to the colored Vitrium bathroom furniture and sinks. These are made of the velvety-matte DuroCast Plus mineral composite material and are available in the same colors. Whether as a back-to-wall, free-standing, or corner version, the distinguishing characteristics of all DuraSquare bathtubs are their rectangular outer contours and precise edges. The organically flowing inner contour creates an aesthetic connection with the round Vitrium sinks.
The wall-mounted toilets from the Millio series by the Italian designer Antonio Bullo also take on the same colors. This creates a color collection across the series for a complete tone-in-tone bathroom. The two finish textures to choose from besides the smooth version – either with grooves or a pattern relief – provide even more customization options. The pleasantly matte finish of the DuroCast Smooth toilet paneling makes a perfect complement to the extraordinary tactile experience that the Vitrium sinks and DuraSquare bathtubs provide.
The guest bathroom is the ideal place to express your own personality and experiment with colors. For example, bathroom objects in strong colors can be combined with expressive wall coverings that highlight an individual wall or smaller surface. Wallpapers with graphic designs or botanical patterns, selected tiles, or also colored paints are especially well-suited in this context.
Furnishing items, walls, floors, and decoration should always have a consistent color harmony, be that tone-in-tone or combined with complementary colors. The selection process of individual elements or materials lends itself to experimentation with collages of materials and colors until the optimum and harmonious result is achieved.
Perfectly Combined With Wallpapers by Graham & Brown
Modern wallpapers with graphic designs or botanical patterns are like works of art - they lend rooms a certain vibrancy. Graham & Brown have brought about a veritable renaissance of wallpaper over recent years with their extraordinary colorful prints. The renowned British manufacturer of high-quality paint products and wall coverings works with a range of motifs from nature, graphic design, various textures, and luxurious gold accents – and shapes trends as a result.
A wallpapered feature wall sets the stylistic scene for the whole bathroom, which more often than not is a small room. Combined with neutral or complementary colors on the other walls, this forms the perfect backdrop for the Vitrium bathroom objects with their reserved designs and intense matt colors.
