Duravit posted record revenues in 2021 with over €600 million for the first time
The Duravit
Group posted record sales of €613.9
million in 2021, corresponding to year-on-year growth of around 28 percent.
Thus, the Duravit Group has once again performed well compared to the
competition and has been able to underpin its leading position in many markets.
Much of the growth has
to do with Duravit’s operations in China, where Duravit’s sales surpassed the
RMB one billion mark (approx. €139 million) for the first time with 32 percent
growth. Similarly, the company has successfully strengthened its role as a
system supplier of complete bathrooms in its extended “Europa Plus” European
sales region and as such has generated greater added value: the region
contributed an increase of 26.4 percent to €328.6 million to the company’s
overall success. Continued profitability
and an extremely robust balance sheet remain key factors in the company’s
economic standing. Duravit is therefore well placed to maintain its successful course.
The
innovations presented as part of the “Digital Design Days” provided an
emotional and inspiring online experience for the almost 20,000 participants
from around the world. The positive feedback from customers, journalists, and
competitors to the new products and innovations presented is yet another reason
why Duravit can look to the future in 2022 with motivation and enthusiasm.
