Duravit takes on Kitzbühel - the first Kempinski Hotel opens in Austria
Kempinski is the oldest luxury hotel group in Europe and now has its first hotel in the Republic of Austria. The only 5* hotel in Kitzbühel and the surrounding area with direct access to the ski slopes has just opened in the Tyrolean ski resort. “Das Tirol” has a great deal to offer: “Kempinski – the Spa” spans 3,600 m2 and is all about wellness and relaxation; the guest can also look forward to Duravit Starck products. A 300 m2 indoor and outdoor pool complex with both freshwater and saltwater pools offers guests maximum bathing pleasure.
Alpine chic with wood, leather, loden – and Duravit
It took weeks of hard work at the construction site in Jochberg to ensure that all was completed in accordance with the high Kempinski standards. The result: alpine materials, the natural look and feel of wood, leather and loden predominate. Kempinski has brought the charm of the Tyrolean mountains into the hotel: A luxurious, individual, chic and comfortable alpine resort with magnificent views and excellent service. Natural raw materials and earth tones feature throughout the building. Kempinski chose Duravit ceramics and furniture to create individuality in all of the bathrooms in the 148 rooms and suites. The PuraVida, Starck 1, Happy D. consoles, Vero, Fogo and 2nd floor ranges highlight the natural and elegant style of “Das Tirol”.
