Water. Aqua. H2O. Chemically, the compound of hydrogen and oxygen. Covers 71% of the earth’s surface. Represents life, health, fertility. Water. Through the ages, Man has always been fascinated by this element. Philippe Starck took his inspiration from it. To create Edition 2, a bathroom range that takes you back. To hidden water courses, streams, the tides. The dual-lever tap range reminiscent of a river’s fork or a diviner’s rod. Its components: A washbasin mixer. A bidet mixer with adjustable spout. A bath tub mixer, either installed on the tub’s rim or as free standing High-Riser. Both models with switch from hand shower to tub spout. The three-hole wall version: a clear line between hot and cold. Just as functional two handled thermostats for bath and shower. The shower column serenely towers the bathroom. Nothing is purely
ornamental, nothing superfluous. Concrete, not coquettish. The poetry of reduction. Equally
reduced: the Starck Shower, a design object, which doesn’t necessarily have to be in the Bathroom. In the words of Philippe Starck: Everything could be so very different. Indeed.

Man’s origins are in the waters. Let’s give him back his ancestry. Philippe Starck’s creations are
veritable water creatures. Their fluid forms imitate water searching its way, flowing evenly or whirling in eddies. An experience mirrored in the washbasin. Available in four sizes, resting on siphon covers or pedestals. The 38 cm hand rinse basin contents itself with a siphon cover, since its raison d’être lies in saving precious space. Surprising: all models feature modest outer dimensions, but offer generous counter space. The WCs follow the same clear-cut design lines: Two wall-mounted toilets with washdown or washout flush, various floor standing combinations,
an ingenious one-piece-WC. Not to forget the bidets, floor standing or wall-hung. Edition 2’s autonomous design allows perfect combinations with all pieces previously created by Starck. Maybe because it’s always been his stated objective to capture serious matters with the greatest possible lightness. Once again, he has succeeded.
