The whole world comes to call. For many years the Hotel Castell was lost, a slumbering Sleeping Beauty. Anyone kissing a sleeping beauty these days must be prepared for her to seek out the nearest beauty salon upon waking. So it was only natural for this fairytale castle to be reincarnated as a realm of pleasure, complete with a resplendent hamam (Turkish bath). The Castell seeks to attract a range of illustrious guests and a suitably eclectic hotel world has been created, with a clean, cosmopolitan look and, in the bathrooms, corporeal white washbasins against an elegant glass mosaic background. A contrasting effect is provided by a modern interpretation of traditional Engadine architectural style, with inlaid wood surfaces and indirect wall lighting.
